Itinerary
- 06h30: Early in the morning, we will transfer you from your Hotel/Airbnb to the Wanchaq station. Next, you’ll board a private bus to Ollantaytambo.
- 09h00: You will board the Expedition train to head the town of Aguas Calientes. The experience aboard is unique, you will enjoy an unbelievable scenary and take panoramic pictures on your way to Machu Picchu.
- 10h50: Upon your arrival, you will take the bus up to the citadel (20 min) and discover the centerpiece of this trip, the enigmatic Machu Picchu!
- 11h30: You will meet your English-speaking guide who will be delighted to show you the main temples, royal palaces and beautiful terraces offering spectacular views of the cloud-wreathed Andes. The remarkable state of preservation of Machu Picchu, with its superb interlacing masonry will fully impress you!.
The guided tour will take about 2 hours and a half, after which you will have time to fully embrace this magnificent wonder on your own.
- 17h20: After this unique experience, you will get back to Aguas Calientes in order to take a comfortable train back to Cusco.
- 20h50: Arrival in Cusco. Transfer to your hotel.
